Work Experience Opportunities

We can offer you work experiences in the following areas:-

· Catering

· Conservation

· Horticulture

· Recycling

· Office Practice

· Wood Occupations

Accreditation

Training is accredited through the Open College Network.

Job Coaching

You will receive support and job coaching specific to your needs and you will be encouraged to reach your maximum potential in the workplace. Development of basic skills such as Literacy, Numeracy and IT will be promoted in a natural working environment.

Transport

You will be given the help of the training team to find your way independently to and from Menter Fachwen on public transport where possible.

Location

All the training at Menter Fachwen will take place in community based working environments.

Other Agencies

We work closely with other agencies including WCVA, Agoriad, Schools, Coleg Menai, local employers and learning Disability Team to ensure that the best possible plan is developed for you.

Individual Planning

Your individual training programme will be arranged for you by an experienced training team working closely with the other partner agencies.

Guidance and Counselling

This will be integrated into your working day to ensure you can make informed choices for yourself about those important decisions to do with your future.
