India Links

Dr Bobby Kurian works with Karen Wood, cue of Menter Fachwen's founders and through this personal link Menter has linked to Asha Bhavan in Kottayam, Kerala.

Asha Bhavan is inspired by Bobby's personal commitment to developing [ ? ] for people with learning disabilities in his home state of Kerala. Bobby's wife Anna Ninan works there on a day to day basis helping women with learning disabilities to learn new skills.

In joining forces, Menter will assist Asha Bhavan to develop its project ideas and find money to a build in new centre of excellence to support people with disabilities and their families. It is hoped that this could be model for grater development throughout India.

Menter Fachwen and its workforce and communities will also gain from the experiences of helping another group to get started. In a few years time we hope exchange visits will take place. We will share learning curriculums, ideas and different cultures.
